I had never been to GCS before my last trip to NYC…very cool place, both people wise and architecture wise. Spent several hours just wandering around taking photos and exploring.

It is hot here in Texas (and around the rest of the US too)… so a little snow from earlier this year to cool everyone down is in order!

Snow in the beginning of this year in Austin…it is so hot, i just wanted a little reminder that it can get cold here!

During the few days I spent in New York City last fall, I had the opportunity to tour around the city with my photographer friend and host, Chris Hondros…we went many different places and started at the UN building. So, i have the iconic shot of the UN building here, hope you like. From the 2009 roadtrip to Nova Scotia.

At Christmas, Home Street in Austin pulls out all the stops for lighting the season. And it isn’t traditional Christmas lights you’ll be seeing – here is a motorcycle all decked out and lit up from 2009.

From one of my many walks through the parks near Austin, i just found the texture of the tree fascinating!

Met up with friends in Houston last spring to wander through Hermann Park. Not only were there a lot of flowers and gardens, there was this great pool and monument.

This spring, we had a fabulous wildflower season – bluebonnets and paint brushes in bloom everywhere. Had the chance to go out several times to shoot…here is my best bud, Cody, suffering to pose for me…

in lower McKinney Falls! It is hot in Texas and most of the rest of the US so a cool wade in the park here would be nice.

The Austin skyline was once the domain of the Frost Building, the UT Tower and the Capitol…but now, many more hi-rise condos have moved into town and the familiar Austin skyline is less and less familiar. Here is a closeup of the Frost Building from the lawn of the Long Center.
