I have been passing by the haybales near where I live for several weeks and kept saying I had to go out there and shoot so finally yesterday I did. Found this beauty with what I think is a morning glory growing on it.

The Observatory Hill at Butler park has a great Texas map cut into the concrete which I think is really cool and I have a hard time capturing to my satisfaction. Here’s another attempt…

When you are looking for wildflowers in Texas, you need look no further than the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin. They have great flora and art all year round… here are some bluebonnets just waiting for their close-ups from last spring.

It is hot here in Texas (and around the rest of the US too)… so a little snow from earlier this year to cool everyone down is in order! Snow in the beginning of this year in Austin…it is so hot, i just wanted a little reminder that it can get cold here!
