Double-tone mapped HDR. From the gift shop at the Caverns of Sonora trip from 2 years ago. I hadn’t been able to make anything satisfactory with the exposure images initially but as I learned more about double-tone mapping, HDR and photoshop, I finally got something to my liking.

The Caverns of Sonora are still alive. The caves are still growing and forming all the various formations you’d expect – stalactites and stalagmites, straws and even bacon!

Sonora Caverns, Elephant Passage near the exit. Very smooth walls, like you are walking inside the bones of some giant animal. Sonora Caverns, Elephant Passage — HDR converted to Black and White… I liked them both so had to share.
