Another shot from a bit earlier in the day of the Brooklyn Bridge and NY Skyline, from the 2009 road trip! Hard to believe it was a year ago I was getting ready for the road trip to Nova Scotia – I *still* haven’t processed all the photos! But here is one that is done from Times Square – the red steps. It was a cool place to people watch and take a break. Going back in time to the Sedona trip as I play with some new HDR software and new techniques. What do you think? If you are fan of Project Runway – at least from when it was on Bravo, originally – you probably know all about Parsons in NYC. I happened to be wandering around found it so had to take a shot. Pseudo-HDR image – single exposure, taken with a cell phone camera, no less, on my recent quick trip to San Francisco. The hotel was right across the water from the airport and at low tide, there were many interesting shapes that begged to be captured in HDR… I had never been to GCS before my last trip to NYC…very cool place, both people wise and architecture wise. Spent several hours just wandering around taking photos and exploring. During the few days I spent in New York City last fall, I had the opportunity to tour around the city with my photographer friend and host, Chris Hondros…we went many different places and started at the UN building. So, i have the iconic shot of the UN building here, hope you like. From the [...] Brooklyn Bridge, New York and Sunset. Priceless. I have spent a lot of time in airports i the past on my travels around the world…and many of those airports have become destinations in themselves with interesting architecture and artwork. Here is a shot from my layover in DFW on the way to DC last November. Times Square, September 2009, lunchtime. |
