Path under the mountain aka Valley of Ice (HDR)

The Valley of Ice in Sonora Caverns here in Texas… HDR is a really great way to capture this cave, I think, though it does take some careful processing to tone done the overly red/orange of the lighting…but it really brings out the textures, shadows and highlights. More to come in the future.

Can Creek Vigil (HDR)

Longhorn Cavern Fall (HDR)

Little bit of Fall color from the Longhord Cavern entrance, up near Inks Lake in the Texas Hill country.

Hermann Park Rose Garden (HDR)

The Rose Garden in the Spring at Hermann Park in Houston.

Bandera Boot Heaven (pseudo-HDR)

Brooklyn Sunset (HDR)

Another shot from a bit earlier in the day of the Brooklyn Bridge and NY Skyline, from the 2009 road trip!

Color Leaf (HDR)

There was excellent color at Lost Maples several years ago and I am still working on the photos… here we have a leaf (Red Oak, I think) just hanging on in the late Fall. Single RAW, converted with Photomatix and cleaned up with PS5.

Another Fabulous Sunset (HDR)

At the Oasis on Lake Travis in Austin, Texas…this is from last summer when the lake was very low due to the drought, which uncovered these "islands."

SWU Entrance (HDR)

Georgetown, Texas is home to Southwestern University and the campus is a great place for photography, I think.
