Getting the Evil Eye at the WF Center (HDR)

Got the look from this turtle at the LBJ Wildflower Center last spring when I went there with my Dad. The cool thing, at least, was he (or she) was perfectly still so was able to get a good HDR of him/her!

Long Center Before the Show (HDR)

Between Sunset and Fireworks start, the view of the Long Center (and the fireworks trailers) at dusk July 4th, 2010.

Rincon Park (HDR)

Many great things to shoot in San Francisco, especially along the waterfront! Walking along the Embarcadero, you will find Rincon Park and Cupid’s Span. Some love it, some don’t… as a tourist and photographer, I enjoyed seeing the public art and the people enjoying the day in the park.

McNay Museum Courtyard (HDR)

San Antonio. McNay Musuem is a great place to spend the day. After seeing the art inside, you will find a wonderful multi-story courtyard you can explore, full of it’s own art. Here is a shot of one of the pieces with a portion of the courtyard in the background.

McNay Animal Courtyard (DT HDR)

Double tone-mapped HDR of a reflective, abstract "animal" courtyard at the McNay museum in San Antonio. This is a very cool museum both inside and out (though no tripods inside, alas) – great art, beautiful courtyard inside and fantastic grounds on the outside, with places like this to be found!

Under the Bulls Eye (HDR)

The classic Driskill hotel in downtown Austin is a fabulous place to shoot HDR (and it is where Trey Ratcliff held his HDR workshop). Here is a sitting area near the entrace to the bar from the hotel, under the watchful eyes of the Bull.

Alamo Moon (HDR)

San Antonio, Texas…The Alamo. Captured the moon coming out of the clouds over the Alamo one night last year … think this is a good start for the fall!

Mountain Laurel Spring (HDR)

Have a little bit of Mountain Laurel blooms in the morning from Lost Maples SNA in Vanderpool last spring.
