One of the more peaceful activities I think anyone can do is walk along the beach at sunset and enjoy the sights and sounds. Here is Cannon Beach, Oregon on one of those sunset evenings.

Can’t get enough of the sunset at the Oasis…this is from when the lake was low last year…if those islands were always there, they’d have houses on them, I’m sure!

From right down the street from my house! There are still several working farms – some for cows and another for hay. (I bet those cows wish they could cross the street!). Anyway, I try to head out after the hay has been baled because I just think it looks really interesting with the colors [...]

Last year at this time, i was on my way up the East Coast to Nova Scotia, with many stops along the way including visiting with photog Chris Hondros in Brooklyn, NY. Here we have the Manhattan Bridge and the Empire State Building in the background.

At the Oasis on Lake Travis in Austin, Texas…this is from last summer when the lake was very low due to the drought, which uncovered these "islands."
